Dr. Kidd grew up in Neenah, Wisconsin. He earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison. He completed his six years of residency training at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
Upon his return to Wisconsin, Dr. Kidd has held many leadership positions at local hospitals including Chief of Surgery at both Ascension St. Francis and Ascension Franklin Hospitals as well as Chief of Urology at St. Joseph's Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a current member of the American Urological Association, the Wisconsin Urology Society and the Milwaukee Urology Society.
Dr. Kidd is interested in all areas of adult urology. He has years of experience treating male and female voiding dysfunction, BPH, oncology and stone disease. He has expertise in vasectomies, robotic surgery and laser surgery. He is also certified in the Urolift procedure and Aquablation for the treatment of enlarged prostate.
Dr. Kidd's philosophy of care is to work closely with patients, their families and a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their individual needs and preferences. By engaging in open communications and mutual respect, we can navigate complex urological conditions together, ensuring comprehensive care and positive outcomes.
In his spare time, Dr. Kidd enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, fishing and following the Packers and Badgers.

He was able to take me on as a new patient, pretty much at the last minute, from a recommendation by another Doctor. He definitely listened to me. Gave good advice & explained what was going on with my PSA count. Was very helpful. 🙂
