Elizabeth Nelson, PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant with specialized experience in orthopedic care. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
From an early age, Elizabeth knew she had a passion for caring for others. As she continued through school, her experiences led her to the medical field, where she discovered the PA profession and immediately felt at home. “Since I was a little girl, I've always had a strong passion for caring for others… I knew becoming a PA was my dream due to all of the qualities and opportunities it encompasses.”
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys crafting and DIY projects, spending time outdoors, hunting, and being with family and friends.

As limited as my contact has been with PA-C Gilson it has all been very professional and an over all fantastic experience. She is very good at explaining things and expectations following the procedure I had done.

Liz Gilson is an outstanding PA! Always listens to my concerns and explains things in detail. I cannot say enough about how wonderful orthopedic and sports medicine is in Watertown! Absolutely thrilled to see Dr. Habeck back! Dr. Habeck, Liz and the wonderful orthopedic and sports medicine staff have been nothing but amazing and have given me the most wonderful care!! In my opinion, this is the top rated orthopedic and sports medicine facility anywhere!!
