Jay Met, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Jay Met for over 30 years. I have followed him to locations he had moved to because I am confident of the care I receive and the fact that I believe he is the best. I was told by a prominent fellow at the UW that I would be blind by the summer. That was over 30 years ago.

Good care for me for many years! I hope I never lose him!

The first time I met Dr. Met, he was very engaged and explained everything to me in great detail. At my last appointment, which was for eye injection treatment, I felt he was perhaps very busy and less inclined to engage. No blame, based on the number of patients and assembly-line taking place on what was apparently injection day. Dr. Met was still incredibly professional, and has my entire confidence.

Very thorough and efficient, knows his stuff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Met for 30 years and have traveled to wherever he moved during that time. I was told that I was going to be blind 30 years ago by a Fellow at a university hospital. I plunged into a 3-month depression and then I did research on my own and I found Dr. Met. He sent me for tests to check on any possible disease that could cause my condition. He started me on my eye drop medication and answered any questions I had personally over the phone. He even called me to calm my fears. The medication worked after a while and now I use it PRN.
