Jeffery Meade, MD

Dr. Jeff started Meade Medical Clinic with his identical twin brother - Dr. Jim - in 1998 after moving back to Wisconsin from Pittsburgh, Pa where he completed residency. Dr. Jeff is a long time resident of Wisconsin. He grew up in Wauwatosa (which means "land of the fireflies") and spent 15 years in Madison before leaving for Pennsylvania. His practice style is best summed up in his phrase "I would like to do as much as possible for your child and as little as possible to them". This philosophy applies to well child care, sick care, the use of antibiotics, and especially to immunization practices. It is our professional opinion that the best thing to do in order to keep children from getting sick is to keep them up to date with their immunizations. Dr. Jeff would be happy to explain the "immune system memory", but the basics are that by showing your immune system recognizable bits of infections the body can use its own defenses to ward off infection. What can be safer than that?!"
